A rich earthy bouquet is balanced by nuances of spice, cherry stone and blackberry. Weighty balanced tannins lead to a concentrated finish of bramble and dried herbs. A persistant wine with cellaring potental of 4-5 years
Vintage Summary:
The wines from the 2007 Marlborough vintage look fantastic. Clean pure flavours and aromas abound, ferments went extremely well and the regional characters Marlborough is famous for are in abundance.
Vinification:
Small parcels were hand picked, sorted and fermented in small vats. After maceration each parcel was gently pressed to french oak barrels.
