The Limestone Coast is well-equipped for premium grape production with its cool to mild climate and rich terra rossa soils. Typically the vines in this part of South Australia are lower yielding, producing more intensely flavoured and distinctive fruit. The 2007 vintage was a low yielding year however the quality of Limestone Coast Sauvignon Blanc was considered exceptional. Cape Jaffa’s Southern Reef Semillon Sauvignon Blanc showcases depth of character you would expect from premium Limestone Coast wines. A bouquet of lemon and gooseberry with fine acid balance contributes to a rich flavoursome palate displaying good structure and depth.
